Registration

The Maywood School District comprises of two elementary schools, each serving a different school population.

Kindergarten Registration: 

Now open for incoming 2026-2027 kindergarten students.

***ALL RESIDENCY 26-27 KINDERGARTEN VERIFICATION WILL BE DONE AT MEMORIAL SCHOOL**

New Registration for Grades 1 through 8 

 To register your child, you must first prove residency: 

STEP 1:  Please complete the following form, and a district representative will contact you with further information.  No Walk-Ins will be accepted.

The following steps should be completed only after your residency has been confirmed.

STEP 2: Complete the Genesis Open Registration below.
STEP 3: Complete all required forms and submit to the appropriate school. You will be given all the required forms when you pick up the Registration Package. Please scroll down to review all requirements, paying special attention to the Required Health Information for Registration. Contact the appropriate school to return the completed registration package:

Required Health Information For Registration

The Board of Education, in compliance with the New Jersey Department of Health, requires that ALL students entering the Maywood School District at any level have a physical examination by their family physician. The physical exam must be done no more than 365 days prior to entry into school. Children in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades who will participate in school-sponsored sports or intramural MUST have an NJ State Sport’s Physical. Forms are included in the Health Office Registration packet for those grades or in the Nurse’s office in your child’s school.

Leaving Maywood District?

If you are moving and are withdrawing your child from the Maywood School District please contact the appropriate school at least one week prior to the withdrawal date.  This will give ample time to complete the necessary paperwork
